When we launched the network 20 years ago we made a conscious decision to put patients at the center of everything we do — that philosophy inspired us to invest in cutting-edge diagnostic equipment and to assemble one of the largest incorporated radiology networks in Southern California.

We offer PET, MRI, CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography, bone density and fluoroscopy — a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging in every center.

ACR accreditation

All of our facilities and equipment are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), demonstrating our commitment to quality and safety standards.

Strong partnerships

We maintain contractual relationships with almost every IPA, medical group, and healthcare provider network across Los Angeles and Orange counties, enabling seamless, coordinated care.

Our history

2006 — Founded with a vision. UMIH was established in 2006 with a clear mission: exceptional medical imaging with a patient-first approach, starting with 15 carefully selected locations.

2006–2021 — Strategic growth. Over 15 years we expanded from 15 to 26 state-of-the-art imaging facilities driven by growing demand in underserved communities.

Today — Regional leadership. UMIH stands as a regional leader in medical imaging, focused on the Los Angeles and Orange County markets and continuing to invest in the latest technology.
